In addition to being renowned in the world of Strongman competitions and a very in demand and successful personal trainer, Laurence is also a martial arts expert and a former table tennis coach. He explains how his diverse background has given him an edge competitively. He goes into detail describing his training strategies and gives insightful advice on proper form and technique for competition and how to peak when it counts.

Although he is genetically gifted to excel at his sport, he encourages people of all sizes and shapes to strive for their own personal best and is happy to see in increase in weight class divisions and more women joining the competition as well.
